Second International Conference on Data, Electronics, and Computing (ICDEC 2023)
ICDEC 2023, the 2nd International Conference on Data, Electronics, and Computing, was successfully organized by the Department of Computer Engineering at Mizoram University, Aizawl, and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Mizoram, Aizawl. The conference, held in collaboration with COMSYS Educational Trust, Kolkata, took place on December 15-16, 2023.
During ICDEC 2023, scholarly papers addressing pivotal and state-of-the-art topics were classified into four specialized tracks: Electronics and Communication Track, Image, Video & Signal Processing Track, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Track, and Computing, Algorithms, and Applications Track. A total of 137 submissions were received from various educational institutes and research organizations in India and abroad.
After thorough reviews and plagiarism checks, 57 papers were accepted for oral presentations, resulting in an acceptance rate of approximately 41%. The accepted papers were presented across 11 technical sessions at Mizoram University. The ICDEC2023 technical program featured two keynote lectures delivered by eminent scientists and faculty members from both industry and academia.
The conference attracted a large number of students and research scholars from India and abroad, contributing to the success of ICDEC 2023. The event received considerable global and national attention, with technical program committee members and reviewers from more than 11 different countries actively participating in the technical review process. Participants from 7 countries outside India and 15 different states within India actively attended the conference.
The conference garnered 137 submissions, with 57 papers meeting the acceptance criteria following thorough evaluation, which involved a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 reviews per paper. The provision of reviews ensured meticulous scrutiny, upholding standards of transparency and quality control. This process underscores the conference’s dedication to scholarly rigor and the dissemination of advanced research findings.
ICDEC2023 successfully provided a platform for the exchange of ideas, discussions on cutting-edge topics, and the presentation of valuable research outcomes in the field of Data, Electronics, and Computing. The collaboration between academic institutions and COMSYS Educational Trust facilitated a rich and diverse conference experience.
