Second International Conference on Frontiers in Computing and Systems (COMSYS 2021)

COMSYS-2021, the Second International Conference on Frontiers in Computing and Systems, was successfully organized at the North-Eastern Hill University (A Central University), Shillong, Meghalaya, India, spanning from September 29th to October 1st, 2021. The primary objective of the conference was to cultivate an intellectually stimulating environment for scientists and researchers actively engaged in the domain of computing and systems.

COMSYS-2021 served as a unique platform for delegates to exchange innovative ideas and foster academic and research collaborations in various scientific fields, including Image, Video & Signal Processing, AI, Machine Learning & Data Science, VLSI, Devices & Systems, Computer Networks, Communication & Security, Biomedical & Bioinformatics, IoT, and Cloud & Mobile Computing

The conference garnered significant attention on both global and national scales, with the active participation of technical program committee members and reviewers from over 30 different countries. Attendees hailed from 12 countries outside India and represented 10 different states within the country, reflecting a diverse and inclusive participation. Notably, approximately 30% of all participants were female.

COMSYS-2021 employed a rigorous review process, with each submission undergoing evaluation by at least two reviewers. Out of 153 submissions, 58 papers were meticulously selected for publication in the conference proceedings. Each manuscript underwent a meticulous review process, entailing a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 comprehensive evaluations per paper.The proceedings were published by Springer in the esteemed series of Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems, underscoring the commitment to scholarly dissemination.

The organizing committee extends sincere gratitude to Springer for providing the opportunity to publish the proceedings, with the hope that the articles will be valuable to researchers in the field of computing and systems. 

The conference hosted around 200 participants, fostering an environment conducive to collaboration and knowledge exchange. 

The 2nd International Conference on Frontiers in Computing and Systems (COMSYS-2021) stood as a testament to the commitment of the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering and Department of Information Technology at North-Eastern Hill University to advance research in contemporary scientific fields. The organizing committee warmly invites enthusiasts worldwide to participate in future editions of COMSYS conferences.
